Battle Line with Alan Nathan Replaces Lou Dobbs on Lifestyle Radio Network

Washington, DC – February 8, 2012 – Main Street Radio Network announced today that BATTLE LINE with ALAN NATHAN will replace Lou Dobbs and add two hours to its daily national broadcast, from 8 to 10 PM, Eastern.  The two hours of BATTLE LINE debuts in the new time slot on Lifestyle Talk Radio Network beginning Friday, February 25, 2012 adding to its 5-7PM Eastern footprint on Lifestyle Talk Radio Network. Battle Line reaches over 200 stations nationally including NYC.

Main Street Radio Network President Jane Silk added, “Main Street is very excited with the additional 2 hours of Battle Line on LTRN. Our working relationship with the staff of BTRN/LTRN is a model on how companies can work together for the good of all involved!”.

Main Street Radio Network is an Alexandria, VA based boutique network of selected nationally syndicated shows, ad representation, and selected consulting services. Programming includes BATTLE LINE with ALAN NATHAN, THE SILK SUMMARY, and THE DR. EVELYN HIGGINS SHOW.

According to the Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service, almost 1 in 7 American households had to confront hunger in 2009. The first question that might come to mind is ok, now what? What are the best remedies? Should we have more social spending programs or fewer programs that are better managed? Why not simply concentrating on improving economy because for many the best assistance program is a 'job'? Ultimately, however, the most upsetting question is how could one seventh of America's families face hunger in a country with the most bountiful agriculture on earth?
